Environ’s result driven Vitamin A, C & E skin-care range and treatment programme is at the forefront of scientific skin care. South African born professional brand, Environ Skin Care, has been recognised as the Top Medical Skincare Line of the decade at the Aesthetic Everything® Aesthetic and Cosmetic Medicine Awards.
If you are looking for a medical grade skin care treatment plan that can help you improve your complexion and target skin concerns such as oily or dry, dehydrated, dull, sensitive skin, fine lines & wrinkles, loss of elasticity and or ageing skin, or if you simply are looking a skin care plan to treat specific skin conditions such as scarring, uneven skin texture, high colour, rosacea and or active acne, then look no further. Environ’s pharmaceutical scientific skincare range is the ideal solution.
Environ’s products will not be found in high street shops. This specialised and effective premiere quality medical skin care brand is only offered through trained therapists and dermatologists. Formulated by Dr Des Fernandes, a world-renowned plastic surgeon, Environ is a natural preservative and additive free range which contains a unique combination of active ingredients, such as active vitamins and peptides to treat and heal the skin from the inside out.
The cornerstone of Environ’s skincare range is vitamin A. Vitamin A has the amazing ability to alter the skin’s DNA and to reverse and repair the harmful effects of today’s environment, such as ultraviolet radiation and other pollutants. This promotes the production of healthy collagen and elastin resulting in hydrated younger firmer looking skin.
Environ bridges the gap between modern, medical science and beauty therapy. The formulations and professional treatments are based on active nutrients that have been scientifically researched and thoroughly tested. It goes beyond simple ‘pampering’ to working with the skin’s physiology from within, making it radiant and healthy.
Clients who use Environ’s products will see physical changes to their skin that they have never seen before. I have tested and tried Environ’s products and have seen the outstanding results for myself. My aim at Eternal Beauty is to provide longterm health of the skin rather than a quick, temporary fix. Environ Skin Care is a brand that offers outstanding results for people who are serious about skincare. Whatever your skin concern, condition or aims are, there is an Environ product to suit you.
Environ’s revolutionary Ionzyme DF Machine has been specifically designed for Environ skin care treatments. It is considered the most effective machine in the world today for enhancing the penetration of high doses of vitamins and peptides into the skin. This reaches and targets skin cells and makes adequate changes, reversing the ageing process. (The deeper the vitamins penetrate into the skin, the better the results will be.)
Pulsed Iontophoresis, which involves the use of an electrical current to facilitate greater penetration of vitamins into the skin, is used in this treatment. (Note, there is no pain with this treatment)
Low frequency Sonophoresis, which involves the use of sound waves to transport vitamin molecules through the skin, is used too.
Both methods can be combined, were necessary, for an intensive treatment and are used to stimulate maximum thickening of the skin. This will help achieve normalization, improvement of collagen & elastin, better control of pigment production, restoration of normal blood flow & proper oxygenation of the skin. This is up to a thousand times more effective than the conventional ultrasound facial.
Cosmeceuticals vs Cosmetics skin-care products; what is the difference?
Like many other skin specialists, I am often asked ‘What’s the difference between cosmeceuticals and cosmetic skin care products?’
They may look the same and feel the same but there is a big difference between the two.
Frequency asked questions
What is a Cosmeceutical product?
Cosmeceuticals are products that can produce structural changes within the skin and are ideal for the treatment of skin conditions like acne, hyper-pigmentation and ageing skin. Cosmeceutical products are not just skincare but rather skin medicine. Unlike cosmetic products the ingredients in cosmeceuticals are stronger and the vitamins and peptides are active.
To be classed as a ‘Cosmeceutical product’ active ingredients must be at a scientifically proven level of concentration that have a positive effect on the skin. They must be in a delivery system that ensures that the active ingredients can penetrate the skin correctly. A Cosmeceutical product differs by stepping up with higher concentrations of active ingredients and often a variety of these active ingredients are combined together. This stronger formulation has the ability to bring about visible changes to the skin making it a results-focused product.
When applied to the skin the active ingredients are able to penetrate into the deeper layers of the skin and therefore reach the dermal layers, were they are able to make noticeable changes in the skin at a cellular level. These changes can include reducing acne severity, re-hydrating the skin, diminishing the appearance of ageing and sun damage, and promoting a healthy, radiant complexion. Cosmeceutical products have been scientifically developed to produce impressive, fast-acting and noticeable results to correct skin concerns and problems.
Cosmeceutical products are only available from Medi Spas, Paramedical skin clinics like Eternal Beauty, and Dermatologists. These specialised products are only supplied and prescribed by a skin care professional who has been fully trained in these specialised products. By having a professional skin consultation, you will be prescribed the correct skincare to suit your specific needs and concerns.
What is a Cosmetic product?
Cosmetic products, on the other hand, do not have active ingredients and if they did have any active ingredients, they are not at the scientific proven level or in the correct delivery system to make physical changes to the skin. This is because cosmetic products must be made safe because big cosmetic companies cannot afford to have masses of consumers having adverse reactions to their products. Therefore, cosmetic skin care products will feel good and smell good, but they won’t have a deep affect to make any structural changes to the skin.
Cosmetics products are sold over the counter because they are safe. The only thing that can go wrong could be incorrectly diagnosing your skin type and purchasing the incorrect products. Cosmetic products cannot penetrate the epidermis (this is the first layer of the skin) to access the deeper layers of the skin, (the dermis). So, while cosmetic products may refresh your complexion, hydrate the skin, and exfoliate the skin temporarily, they cannot create structural changes or deliver long-term results.
Environ’s skin care & treatment programme
Environ’s skin care & treatment programme follow a detailed consultation with a skin specialist, after this a personalised bespoke treatment and home care plan will be agreed upon and drawn out. Many skin conditions see excellent results in a short space of time. Some skin conditions however, will take commitment, time and patience from both the client and therapist. During consultation, this will be fully discussed.
Environ’s skincare is very much results driven. It is based on a unique step-up programme which allows the skin to gradually acclimatise to progressively higher levels of vitamin A, resulting in a plumper, firmer, younger looking skin.
